The best way to hike with me is to take me along with a bunch of art supplies and ditch me at the first beautiful spot. In Sedona that was an overlook off Bear Mountain, where I sat about four hours and painted while everyone else went on a rattlesnake-filled hike up the mountain. No rattlesnakes, no hike, a win-win.
