This is an older painting, from Colorado around 2013. Below the dam outside Granby the runoff river opens up and comes around a hill; in the afternoon light one side was lit bright green and the other was completely in shadow, with a cabin reaching out over the water, surrounded by pine and aspen and flowers. It was a perfect spot.
