Jay and I ended up here for a day on the beach in Durban, South Africa. Big signs warned of crocodiles and hippos and sharks, so we just walked along the edge. It was a beautiful day, cloudy with the clouds rushing in on a strong wind, and what I loved was how different all the layers of wet sand were, the wave height was so inconsistent you got several layers of wetness, each a different color.
